LCW has been in business for over 45 years. Owned and operated by the Boyar Family, customer service has always been the highest priority. This is why there is always a member of the family available to service your needs along with the staff. LCW manufactures the largest assortment of limousines in the world. The Boyar family is the originator of the 120-inch Lincoln 3-inch raised roof, and Cadillac 130-inch 3-inch raised roof and has multiple patents pending. LCW is the first CMC Certified coach builder to provide a full sized recessed trunk spare on several Cadillac models. It is also the first coachbuilder to construct a 54-inch 5th and 6th door on Lincoln and Cadillac both. LCW is also the first QVM Certified builder to construct a 140-inch navigator with a 42-inch plasma screen TV. This family owned and operated company is setting the standards for the limousine industry and will continue for years to come.
LCW Automotive Corp., has a 45-year history building limousine conversions that have been employed in the funeral and livery industries. In the 1970’s LCW was busy extending Cadillac conversions based on the then Cadillac formal limousines, Lincoln long cars, 46-inch Mercedes, Rolls Royce sedans into convertibles. In the 1980’s LCW was the first to deliver the Lincoln and Cadillac long door, as well as the 6-inch wide-body Lincoln with a distinctive raised roof design.
The 1990’s were full of innovations for this mid-sized converter of quality conversions and LCW became Lincoln QVM and Cadillac CMC certified and have remained so to this day. They are also an active member of the QVM/CMC Vehicle Manufacturer’s Association. During 2001/2002 LCW was actively supporting the industry and expanding its presence in the funeral industry with a exciting new 48-inch Six door Cadillac that featured a 3-inch raised roof, a flat floor, a unique full-size spare tire and storage compartment and special mid-mount air-conditioning as “standard” packaging for the professional limousine.
Recently, LCW has been entrusted by Cadillac with building the two West Wing TV show presidential limousines that actor, Martin Sheen, uses when he plays President Bartlett. LCW had a big change in 2006 when they relocated the production headquarters to San Antonio, Texas. A move that moved sons Adam and Todd, the next generation of leadership into their new positions of ownership and management. They built a facility in Texas so that they could diversify the production and be closer to the client base. In the past few years LCW has diversified into the RV market developing their new product line “Jetstream”. This new product is being built as a utilitarian RV with limousine luxury.
